Order a stock sample in 3 to 5 days, or a customized sample with your logo, colorway and packaging in 7 to 15 days. Sample cost is refundable against your first mass-production order.
Which one you need depends on what you are trying to verify: the device itself, your branding, or a new design.
| Sample type | Lead time | What it verifies | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stock sample | 3–5 days | Build quality, feel, fit, light output on a standard model | Sample price + freight |
| Customized sample | 7–15 days | Your logo, Pantone color and packaging as it will actually ship | Sample + setup, refundable |
| First-article sample | 7–15 days after tooling | A new OEM mold before mass production is released | Included in tooling project |
We charge for samples because we build them properly. A sample that is hand-assembled differently from the production line tells you nothing about what will actually arrive.
Exact figures are confirmed in your quotation, since the refund depends on the eventual order value.
A sample shipment is a small version of the real thing, including the paperwork.
Production-standard build, not a hand-assembled demonstration unit.
Charging cable, storage bag and any spare heads, as shipped in production.
Retail box and insert, printed if you have supplied artwork.
Optical test report for LED models, plus the relevant compliance declarations.
Sample dispatch is by express courier. Battery products travel under UN38.3 documentation, which we prepare, so tell us the destination country when you order.
Yes. The sample cost is refunded against your first mass-production order. Freight is not refundable. The exact refund amount is stated in your quotation so there is no ambiguity later.
Stock samples dispatch in 3–5 days. Customized samples take 7–15 days to build. Express courier transit is typically 3–7 days depending on destination, so allow roughly two weeks for a stock sample door to door and three to four weeks for a custom one.
Yes, and it is usually worth doing if you are choosing between models. Combined sample shipments reduce freight cost considerably. Tell us which models you are comparing and we will quote them together.
That is the purpose of the sample. Production runs to the approved sample, and the sample you sign off is what we reference during mass production and pre-shipment inspection. If a change becomes necessary mid-production we tell you before proceeding, not after.
No. There is no obligation to order after receiving a sample. We would rather you evaluate the product properly first than commit to production you are not confident about.
Tell us the model, destination country and whether you need it customized. We reply within one business day with the sample fee and dispatch timeline.
